Privacy Policy
ScoreMark (“we,” “us”) is a game-day app for recording sports, overlaying live scores, streaming, and sharing. This policy explains what information the app and scoremark.app use and why.
Information we use
- Camera and microphone. Used to record video and audio and to stream live. Media stays on your device unless you save it to Photos, export a clip, or broadcast to a platform you choose.
- Photos library. Used to save recordings and clips (including a ScoreMark Clips album) and optionally attach roster photos.
- Bluetooth and local network. Used so a Camera, Controller, Clip Farm, or nearby devices can pair and sync scores or clips. Stream keys are not sent over Bluetooth.
- Account linking. If you sign in with YouTube (Google) or Facebook to create or manage live broadcasts, those providers process your login under their own policies. Stream keys you paste stay on your device (Keychain) and are not uploaded to ScoreMark servers.
- Live score follow. When you publish a follow link, score snapshots for that game are stored temporarily on our servers (tokenized URLs on scoremark.app) so fans can open the link. We do not publish a public directory of games. Links expire after the game session ends or times out.
- Diagnostics. We use Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics to understand crashes and basic product usage (for example, feature interaction). We do not use this data to track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising.
- App Tracking Transparency. On iOS, Facebook Login may request tracking permission when you create Page lives. You can decline. We disable Facebook auto-log and advertiser ID collection in the app configuration where possible.
- Purchases. Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive entitlement status (Free, Live Stream, or Pro), not your full payment card details.
How we use information
We use the information above to provide recording, scoring, streaming, live score follow, and app reliability — not to sell personal data. We do not sell your personal information.
Youth and game-day footage
You are responsible for obtaining any required consents before recording or streaming people (including minors) and for complying with platform rules such as YouTube’s Made for Kids settings. ScoreMark does not verify ages of people who appear in your videos.
Data retention
Recordings and clips on your device remain until you delete them. Live score records are short-lived (on the order of hours after a game ends or stops updating). Crash and analytics data are retained according to our Firebase project settings and Google’s practices.
Your choices
- Revoke camera, mic, Photos, Bluetooth, local network, or tracking permission in iOS Settings.
- Disconnect YouTube or Facebook from within the app or the provider’s account settings.
- Stop publishing a live score link or end the game session so the follow page expires.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
Requests
To ask questions about this policy or request deletion of live-score data associated with a link you control, email support@scoremark.app.
Changes
We may update this policy as ScoreMark evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app or site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
